IKWUANO FORMER COUNCILORS ENDORSE DR ALEX OTTI FOR THE 2027 ELECTION.
A Labour Party Chieftain in Ikwuano Local Government Catechist Ambrose Jonah has assured former elected councillors in Ikwuano that the present administration would give them necessary support as grassroot leaders.

Catechist Jonah disclosed this when the former elected councilors paid him a courtesy visit in his home town Amizi Oloko in Ikwuano, said Abians have seen the level of progress achieved by governor Alex Otti’s administration which signifies good stewardship and accountability.
He stressed the need for individuals to reflect and compare the previous regime and the present administration that brought speed development and growth.
He declared that the coast is clear for the Labour Party to defeat any opposition party come 2027, revealing that credibility defines the character of Dr Otti.
“In 2019, some political leaders sent delegates to convince me to join them, but I refused. I found out that Dr Alex Otti remains the most credible candidate amongst others contestants”.
Catechist Jonah promised that the stakeholders in Ikwuano would give them support as grassroot leaders.

Earlier In his address, the LGA Cordinator, Abia state elected former councilors forum Ikwuano chapter, Hon Unegbu Emmanuel Unegbu, said the essence of their visit was to familiarize with present elected/appointees from Ikwuano.
He revealed that Governor Alex Otti has wiped out decades of tears from the eyes of so many Abians.
The former councilor reaffirmed their resolve to mobilise, and strengthen the party structure in the LGA, highlighting that the governor deserve second tenure, following his continues developmental strides in the state.
According to Unegbu, Governor Otti approved the payment of backlog of Salaries owed to them by past state government.

Contribiting, The Zonal Secretary, Abia Former Councilors, Hon Chief Mbagwu Johnson Chukwuemeka noted that Governor Otti has touched lives in Abia through improved infrastructural and socioeconomic developments.
He recalled that serious road project is ongoing along ariam usaka ringroad, including modern day agricultural production in Abia.
