OTTI’S ADMINISTRATION IN ABIA STATE IS RESULT ORIENTED  Dr. Kalu

A philanthropist in abia state Dr. Emeka Charles Kalu have eulogized the starling qualities of the administration of governor Alex Otti in Abia State, saying he is revolutionalizing all sectors of the economy in the state .

Addressing journalists recently in Umuahia , Dr. Kalu said the state is experiencing a total developmental change in all facets of the economy .
He noted that governor Otiti’s reforms have begun to bear good fruits both in urban and rural communities.
He emphasized
that, the recent road and bridge projects in the state have to s great extent eased off movement, opened up economic windows, and restored confidence among residents and investors alike .

He commended the governor for the new Abia Green Shuttle buses transport system and other roads infrastructure linking several communities that were previously isolated, particularly during raining season. The projects, he said, have not only reduced travel time but also enhanced agricultural trade, enabled small businesses to thrive, and strengthened inter-community ties.

He noted that Urban centers such as Aba and surrounding industrial hubs have also benefited from major road rehabilitation, which has improved commercial mobility and reduced logistics costs for traders and manufacturers .

The philanthropist maintained that government’ policies are equally making visible impacts on education and healthcare , pointing out ongoing schools upgrade, improved learning facilities, and teacher support initiatives aimed at restoring confidence in public education.

In the health sector, he observed that primary and secondary healthcare systems are gradually being repositioned through equipments upgrade, engagement of qualified personnel , and improved service delivery.

“The difference is becoming evident across sectors. Governance should reflect in the everyday lives of citizens, and that is what we are beginning to see,” Kalu stated.

He called on Abians especially those of Abia North, to continue to support the government of Dr. Alex Otti and the current reform momentum , adding that continuity in governance help to consolidate the gains already made and ensure that ongoing projects are completed and new ones initiated.

Kalu also urged stakeholders and grassroots leaders to align with the governor’s reform programme stating that sustainable development requires collective efforts of all citizens .

Observers say the commendation adds to a growing list of endorsements from leaders of Civil Society and political Players who believe the current administration has introduced a results-driven governance style centered on infrastructural renewal, human capital development, and economic revitalisation.

Dr. Kalu observed that political discussions are tending towards 2027 general elections, some analysts he said are of the opinion that these high level endorsements may reshape alignments, especially as debates are centered around delivery of dividends of democracy to the people.
