ABIA CP Receives Public Complaints Commission Delegates, Pledges Synergy for Enhanced Security.
The Commissioner of Police, Abia State Command, CP Danladi Isa, today received a delegation from the Public Complaints Commission (PCC), Abia State, led by the State Commissioner, Hon. Madukwe E. E. Ukaegbu, during a courtesy visit to the Command Headquarters in Umuahia.

The visit was aimed at fostering mutual understanding and exploring areas of collaboration between the two institutions, particularly in the interest of promoting peace, justice, and security across the state.
Hon. Ukaegbu praised the efforts of the Abia State Police Command under CP Isa’s leadership, especially in crime prevention and maintaining public order. He emphasized the importance of strengthening institutional synergy in addressing public grievances and ensuring justice through non-violent means.

In his remarks, CP Danladi Isa expressed appreciation for the visit and reiterated the Command’s readiness to support the Commission’s initiatives. He lauded the Commission’s use of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) as an effective and peaceful tool for resolving conflicts, highlighting its alignment with the police’s community-oriented approach to policing.
The Police Commissioner assured the delegation of continued cooperation, stating that sustained collaboration between security and civil institutions is crucial to building a safer and more harmonious society.
The meeting marks a renewed commitment to partnership between the Police and the Public Complaints Commission in the collective pursuit of justice, peace, and the protection of citizens’ rights in Abia State.
