Chris Akomas Tells Erondu At Empowerment Progmme

A one time Deputy Governor in Abia State Chief Chris Akomas have described as massive and impressive the empowerment programme carried out recently by an Abia State Law maker representing Obingwa West State Constituency in the Abia State House of Assembly Hon. Erondu Uchenna Erondu jnr .
Chief Akomas commended Hon. Erondu for the kind gesture to his people and urged him to keep it up .Hon Erondu jnr
empowered people of his constituency with life changing items including over 20,000 hospital equipments such as dialysis machines, incubators, ambulances, surgical tools. He promised to have a repeat of the empowerment come Easter period this year
The empowerment which took place over the weekend at Azuogwugwu Umuaro village, Mgboko in Obingwa LGA, and witnessed dignitaries within and outside the state.
Among other items distributed included 23 generators, over 50 desktop and laptop computers for students, 16 car washing machines, vocational equipment, mini buses, trucks, cars tippers and motorcycle hospital beds and mattresses, female goats for widows, university scholarships, free JAMB registration among other numerous items.
Speaking during the occasion, the immediate past governor of the state and an ambassador designate, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu commended the law maker for the massive empowerment. He said Erondu worked under him and know what he is capable of doing, he said he would have been surprised if he did not empower his people this much.
He urged the law maker not to be tired of giving adding that giving attract blessings from God.

In his speech the chairman of the occasion and MD and CEO Allray maritime, Elder Raymond Mkpuruoma Aliga lauded the law maker for the empowerment which was distributed to all in respective of political party. He made it clear that due to the good works of Erondu, his constituency had already endorsed him for a second term.
In his remarks, the Speaker of Abia state House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Emmanuel Emeruwa and the mayor of Obingwa LGA Hon. Maxwell Nwadike said the empowerment is unprecedented and commended him for the love he had shown to the people of his constituency.
In his remarks, Ugwumba uche Nwosu, of Imo state, said Hon. Erondu is a man of substance expressing surprised at the massive empowerment taking place . He described Erondu as a man of big heart to have Assembled over 50 buses, houses, 20,000 hospital equipment for the wellbeing of his community.
he used the occasion to invite him into APC.
Contributing the state chairman of PDP, Chief Abraham Amah said PDP family is proud of what Erondu has done. Adding that he has show capacity for the massive empowerment. He urged him not to leave PDP for another party .
In his speech, The law maker Erondu said from the very first day he assumed office as a law maker, he made it known that from time to time he will be empowering his people to touch their lives .
He said he ensured that none is left out in the empowerment including the physically challenged, youths, widows and others. He said what he is doing is keeping to the promises he made to his people .
He said he observed there are no life saving equipments such as dialysis, incubators for premature babies among other hospital equipment in the empowerment program. He said he will personally go to the hospitals and present the items.
He urged the beneficiaries to judicious use of them. He thanked the immediate past governor Dr Okezie Ikpeazu for his support, love and making him who he is today, he also appreciated Uhie people Assembly for the role they played towards the success of the empowerment and Ugwumba uche Nwosu for honouring his invitation.
