ABIA GETS NEW ACTING CHAIRMAN, OHANEZE YOUTH COUNCIL

In a bid to reposition the Abia State Chapter of Ohaneze Youth Council, the National President, Ohaneze Youth Council, Comrade Igboayaka O. Igboayaka has appointed Comrade Eugene Okonta JP, as the Acting Chairman, Ohaneze Youth Council (OYC), Abia State Chapter.

In a letter of appointment signed by the National President of Ohaneze Youth Council, Comrade Igboayaka noted that; “Following the dissolution of former State Executive of Ohaneze Youth Council Abia State Chapter by the National Executive Council (NEC) and series of examinations and vote of confidence passed on you by the National Executive Council of Ohaneze Youth Council, I hereby appoint you as the Acting Chairman Ohaneze Youth Council Abia State Chapter on this 2nd May, 2025”.

The newly appointed Acting Chairman of Ohaneze Youth Council, Abia State Chapter is expected to resume duties immediately and adhere to the terms of the Ohaneze Youth Council’s constitution and additional regulations set by the National Executive Council.

As the Acting Chairman, Comrade Eugene is to fulfill the primary functions of the Chief Executive Officer of the O.Y.C Abia State Chapter and is tasked with mobilizing both existing and new members of the council, as well as appointing Local Government Area coordinators across the 17 Local Government Areas of the State.
