Bayelsa Loses Deputy Governor: FFDGN Pays Tribute to Lawrence Ewhrudjakp”

The Forum of Former Deputy Governors of Nigeria (FFDGN) has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Bayelsa State Deputy Governor, H.E. Senator Lawrence Ewhrudjakp.

In a condolence letter addressed to Governor Douye Diri, the Forum, speaking on behalf of its Board of Trustees, National Executive Committee, and entire membership, described the late Deputy Governor’s death as a significant loss to his family, Bayelsa State, and the nation.
Senator Ewhrudjakp, who remained an active Associate Member of the Forum until his passing, was praised for his dedication to public service and his commitment to the development, unity, and progress of both Bayelsa State and Nigeria.

The letter, jointly signed by FFDGN National Chairman H.E. Dr. Chris Akomas, Deputy National Chairman (North) H.E. Mukhtar Anka, and Deputy National Chairman (South) H.E. Hazeem Gbolarumi, extended the Forum’s solidarity to the Bayelsa State government, the bereaved family, and all affected by the loss.

The Forum prayed that God grant eternal rest to the departed and provide strength and comfort to the people of Bayelsa State during this period of mourning.
