The people of Ukwa la Ngwa of old Aba zone have declared their unalloyed support for the sitting governor of Abia State Dr Alex Otti for his re-election come 2027 general elections.

Speaking in a grand Civic reception Organised by the Ukwa la Ngwa group recently at Enyimba Stadium Aba , the Chair man of the occassion a former Senate President of the Federal Republic Senator Adolphus Wabara said the great people of Ukwa la Ngwa are standing firm with the governor come 2027. He observed that the governor Dr. Alex Otti have done beyond expectation following his numerous achievements in the old Aba zone and the entire state .

He said in as much as they still expect more , there is every need to appreciate the governor for his infrastructural and other developments in all the sectors of the economy especially on Ukwa la Ngwa land and support his re-election bid in 2027.

He made it clear that time has gone when any so called Cabal would hijack Abia elections.

Several notable Sons and Daughters of the area including Senator Enyinnaya Harcourt Abaribe , Theo Nkire among other notable personalities who graced the event spoke in gratitude to the governor for his noteworthy achievements in Ukwa la Ngwa Community comprising of 9 LGAs for which they would solidly support his re-election bid come the next general elections .

The group donated a total sum of 100 million for the purchase of the nomination form for the governor’s Guber race in 2027 .

Responding , the governor , Dr . Alex Otti thanked the people for coming out enmass to receive and honour him . He said his government’ is theirs for this , their interests must be fully considered first. He enumerated some roads his government’ would tackle in Aba soon

He said those opposing his government’ are merely wasting their time as the issue of 2027 have been concluded. He thanked the people of Ukwa la Ngwa for their massive support of his administration promising not to relent in giving quality dividends of democracy to Abians.

The highlight of the event is the display of cultural dance by numerous cultural troupes from the zone.
