AS FAR AS DR. CHIMA ANYASO’S MATTER IS CONCERNED, I HAVE CROSSED THE RUBICON — THERE IS NO GOING BACK

Crossing the Rubicon means passing a point of no return taking a decisive and irreversible step. As far as Dr. Chimaobi Desmond Anyaso (Ofuji) is concerned, I have crossed that Rubicon. Retreat is no longer an option.

My commitment to Ofuji is not driven by personal gain or selfish interest. Rather, it is inspired by the simple, unassuming lifestyle of a man whose passion for impacting lives and transforming destinies is evident to all who encounter him. I may not have personally benefited from him yet, but I clearly see light at the end of the tunnel.

Ofuji’s dreams, vision, leadership style, and political ideology politics without bitterness, rancor, or division are qualities worthy of admiration. These virtues are increasingly rare among contemporary politicians.

Dr. Anyaso’s humility and forgiving spirit remain exceptional. He embodies modesty, free from arrogance, with a realistic understanding of strengths and weaknesses, always placing people above personal ambition.

His philanthropy goes beyond mere charity. It focuses on sustainable solutions and systemic impact investing in education, empowering youths with entrepreneurial skills, and creating opportunities that promote long-term societal growth rather than temporary relief.

These and many more reasons explain why some of us have willingly burnt our bridges to stand firmly as loyal supporters and committed believers in the Ofuji vision. And I owe no one any apology for this conviction.

I believe strongly in Chima Anyaso. Indeed, as far as Ofuji’s matter is concerned, I have crossed the Rubicon and there is no going back.
