MKO Urges Isuikwuato Residents to Obtain PVCs Before July 10 Deadline.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for the Isuikwuato State Constituency seat in the Abia State House of Assembly, Kingsley Okoronkwo, has called on eligible voters in Isuikwuato Local Government Area to take advantage of the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise and obtain their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) before the July 10, 2026 deadline.

Speaking during a voter sensitisation campaign in Isuikwuato on Thursday, Okoronkwo urged religious leaders, community leaders, youth and women groups, as well as other stakeholders, to mobilise their members for voter registration, transfer of voting units and collection of unclaimed PVCs before the exercise closes.

According to him, obtaining a PVC remains the only way citizens can actively participate in the 2027 general elections and determine the future of their communities through the ballot box.

He stressed that many eligible residents were yet to register or complete the process of transferring their voting locations and warned against waiting until the final days of the exercise.

“Without your PVC, your voice will not count in the 2027 general election. The deadline is July 10, 2026. Do not wait until the last day,” he said.

The PDP candidate also commended the officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission office in Isuikwuato for what he described as their diligence and commitment in ensuring that residents are attended to promptly during the registration exercise.

He noted that the electoral officers have consistently been available to assist registrants and facilitate a smooth registration process.
Okoronkwo further expressed appreciation to the leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party in Isuikwuato, led by Raph Nwankwo, for supporting efforts aimed at increasing voter participation ahead of the registration deadline.

He urged all eligible voters who are yet to register, transfer their voting units or collect their PVCs to visit the INEC office in Isuikwuato without delay.
“Your PVC is your power. Get registered, transfer if needed, and collect your PVC before July 10, 2026,” he said.

Okoronkwo assured residents that with their support and active participation in the democratic process, Isuikwuato would secure purposeful representation in the Abia State House of Assembly in 2027.
