The Labour Party candidate for Bende Federal Constituency in the 2027 general elections, Dr. Chimaobi Desmond Anyaso, has continued consultations with key political stakeholders as part of efforts to strengthen support for his aspiration and advance discussions on the development of the constituency.
Anyasọ paid a courtesy visit to Dr. Kingsley Ononogbu, a respected political leader from Nkpa in Bende Local Government Area, at his residence, where both men deliberated on leadership, development and the future of Bende Federal Constituency.
During the meeting, the Labour Party standard-bearer outlined his vision for effective and people-oriented representation, pledging to champion inclusive development, responsive leadership and policies that would improve the welfare of constituents if elected.
He stressed that his aspiration is driven by a commitment to provide purposeful representation capable of addressing the needs and aspirations of the people of Bende Federal Constituency.
Anyasọ expressed gratitude for the warm reception, describing the counsel, encouragement and prayers he received as a source of renewed determination to pursue people-centred leadership and work towards the sustainable development of Bende Federal Constituency.
Responding, Ononogbu, the immediate past Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abia State, commended Anyasọ for seeking consultation and shared insights drawn from his years of political experience.
He advised the Labour Party candidate to remain committed to humility, integrity and selfless service while maintaining close engagement with the people.
The former APC chairman also offered prayers for Anyasọ’s success in his political journey.
