Age Grade Endorses Chimaobi Anyaso’s 2027 Bende Reps Bid

A prominent socio-cultural group in Igbere, Bende Local Government Area of Abia State, the ECHEE-EMEE Age Grade, has unanimously endorsed the aspiration of philanthropist and politician, Dr. Chimaobi Desmond Anyaso (Ofuji), to represent Bende Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives in the 2027 general election.

The endorsement, described by Anyaso as one that “no amount of money can buy,” reflects the confidence reposed in him by people who have known him from childhood and witnessed his personal growth and character over the years.

Speaking after receiving the endorsement, Anyaso noted that the Igbo Age Grade system is a lifelong institution that symbolizes identity, belonging and shared responsibility, adding that the support of his age mates was particularly meaningful because they had known him from his earliest years.

According to him, members of the ECHEE-EMEE Age Grade not only pledged their prayers and encouragement but also resolved to commit their time, energy and resources towards ensuring the success of his 2027 ambition.

The governorship aspirant-turned-federal lawmaker hopeful expressed gratitude to the President General of Igbere, who joined the delegation during the endorsement visit, describing the gesture as a demonstration of the unity and collective strength of the Igbere community.

Anyaso reaffirmed his commitment to integrity and service, stressing that his age mates could testify to his consistency in character and values from childhood to the present.

He maintained that genuine leadership begins with remaining faithful to one’s roots, likening his political journey to a tree whose strength depends on the depth of its roots.

The endorsement is expected to further boost Anyaso’s growing support base as political activities gradually gather momentum ahead of the 2027 general elections in Abia State.
