ABIA POLICE BOSS Hands Over Refurbished Vehicles to Officers
….TASKS THEM ON EFFECTIVE UTILISATION

Abia state Commissioner of Police, CP Danladi Isa, has handed over six refurbished patrol vehicles to various police formations and units within the command.

The benefitting commands include:
Traffic Office, Umuahia, Scorpion Squad, Aba, Mbala Divisional Headquarters, Nkporo Divisional Headquarters, Umuoba Divisional Headquarters and newly established Abia State Police Band.

Handing over the vehicles, Cp Isah expressed deep appreciation to the Government of Abia State for its continued support, which made the refurbishment of the vehicles possible.

He further charged the officers to make judicious use of the vehicles in line with their core mandate of combating crime and responding promptly to the security needs of Abians.

In a related development, CP Danladi Isa has held meeting with officers of the State Intelligence Department (SID), during which he emphasized the need for officers of the department to be productive and fully engaged in their core mandate of intelligence gathering.
He warned them to shun all forms of unprofessional conduct and corrupt practices capable of tarnishing the image of the command.

CP Danladi Isa further directed that the Assistant Commissioner of Police in charge of SID, ACP Otubo Robinson, and his deputy must ensure proper supervision of their subordinates in order to avoid vicarious liability.
