All Roads Lead to Ohafia for Project Commissioning and Handover

All roads lead to Ohafia this Sunday as the Deputy Governor of Abia State, His Excellency Engr. Ikechukwu Emetu Lekwachi, FNSE, officially commissions and hands over key community development projects in celebration of the birthday of His Excellency, Alex Chioma Otti, OFR, Executive Governor of Abia State.

The projects, located at Okagwe Community and Amoba Section, Amaekpu Community, Ohafia, include a fully furnished 4-bedroom ensuite bungalow, eleven ultra-modern solar-powered toilet facilities, and a solar-powered borehole reticulation system to ensure sustainable water supply.

These people-centered projects are aimed at promoting public health, eliminating open defecation, restoring community dignity, and advancing the vision of a Clean, Green, and Healthy Abia State.

The commissioning ceremony will hold on Sunday, February 15, 2026, at 1:00 PM at the residence of Mr. Chijioke Samuel Kalu, Okagwe, Ohafia, and by 2:00 PM at Amoba Section, Amaekpu Community, Ohafia.
