Hon. Emeka Ndubuisi Bahadur has emerged as the consensus candidate for the Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal Constituency ahead of the forthcoming elections, sparking celebrations among party supporters and stakeholders.

Bahadur emerged following consultations and agreements among leaders and stakeholders of the party, a development many supporters described as a step towards unity and stronger grassroots participation within the constituency.

Speaking shortly after his emergence, the All Democratic Congress (ADC) candidate expressed gratitude to party leaders, supporters, youths, women, and stakeholders for the confidence reposed in him, assuring the people that he would work tirelessly to justify the trust placed in him.

According to him, if given the opportunity to represent the people of Ikwuano/Umuahia at the National Assembly, he would make the constituency and the entire state proud through purposeful and people-oriented representation.

The visibly excited Bahadur also commended the massive turnout of supporters at the event, describing it as a “history-making moment” and a clear sign of the people’s commitment to the future of the constituency.

“What I have seen today makes me very proud proud of the men, women, and youths who came out in their numbers to support this movement,” he stated while addressing cheering supporters.

The event was marked by joyful chants and celebrations, as party faithful described the development as the beginning of a new political chapter for the constituency.
