Bende Communities Praise Gov Otti’s Performance, Pledge Support for His Reelection and Anyaso
Prominent indigenes of Amamba Uzuakoli, Ozuitem, and Nkpa in Bende Local Government Area of Abia State have commended Governor Alex Otti for what they described as visible progress across key sectors of the state.

In separate interviews with journalists, residents, including a commercial driver, Mr. Godwin Nwosu from Amamba- Uzuakoli, community leader Chief Ikechukwu Eze, and Comrade Chukwudi Amalambu-Ezekwem from Ugwunkpa, said the Governor’s performance has boosted public confidence in governance.
They noted that Otti’s administration has brought a new approach to leadership in Abia State through improved infrastructure, better public services, and policies focused on the welfare of the people.

According to them, these efforts have not only driven development but also restored trust in government.
The stakeholders also revealed growing support among residents for both Governor Otti and Dr. Chima Anyaso, whom they described as a credible contender for the Bende Federal House of Representatives seat under the Labour Party.
Similarly, Mr. Chukwuemeka Obioma, Mr. Uchechukwu Ugboaja, and Mr. Peter, an Okada union leader from Ozuitem, described the duo as widely recognized figures whose impact is felt across the communities.
They pledged to strengthen grassroots mobilization by educating residents on the administration’s achievements, especially in infrastructure and community development.
While expressing their continued support, the respondents urged both leaders to remain focused and committed to sustaining the pace of development and delivering the benefits of democracy to the people.
The endorsement from Bende communities is viewed as a strong boost to the Governor’s support base ahead of future political activities in the state.
