FIRE OUT BREAK:
UCDA. GM COMMEND STATE GOVERNOR FOR HIS FORE SIGHT

The General Manager of Umuahia Capital Development’ Authority UCDA Mr Kingsley Agomuoh have commended the state governor Dr.Alex Óttï for his fore sight in upgrading infrastructures in the state and putting in place new ones even before their needs arise .

Mr Agomuoh who was commenting on the fire out break that occured at Aka God Filling Station Nkwoegwu Ohuhu in Umuahia North LGA said the fire out break was brought under control as a result of the good road that enabled the well equipped fire service vehicles to access the scene of incedence on time and brought the fire under control.

He said the incedence call for giving thanks to God as no life was lost and commended the efficiency of the fire service for their prompt response to the inferno .

He commended top government’ Officials including the Senior Special Assistant to the governor on Ease of Doing Business Barr . Agbonma Jenifer Abazie ,
House member representing Umuahia North state Constituency Hon. Anderson Akaliro , Umuahia North LGA Chairman Hon.Smart Iheoma , among other officials for coming out to witness and help in controlling the fire out break . He was also full of praises for the people of Nkwoegwu who he said came out in their number to offer help .

It should be recalled that a petrol Tanker discharging petrol at Aka God fuel station at Nkwoegwu Ohuhu Umuahia bursted into flame that lasted for several hours, but the timely Intervention of the Fire Service Umuahia Station brought the fire under control with no life lost .
