Ude Oko Chukwu Decorates Newly Promoted Police Officer

A newly promoted officer of the Nigeria Police Force, Abia State Command, Sergeant Ogbuagu Akuma, has been decorated with his new rank by the former Deputy Governor of Abia State, Rt. Hon. Ude Oko Chukwu.

Sergeant Akuma, served as one of the security aides to Rt. Hon. Oko Chukwu during his tenure as Deputy Governor.
Speaking during the decoration ceremony, Rt. Hon. Oko Chukwu expressed gratitude to God for the promotion, describing Sgt. Akuma as a committed, gallant, and professional officer who consistently discharged his duties with dedication and integrity.

He recalled that Sgt. Akuma was among the police personnel he helped facilitate into the Nigeria Police Force and encouraged him to remain steadfast, loyal, and diligent in the discharge of his responsibilities.
The former Deputy Governor also offered prayers for the newly promoted officer, asking God to grant him continued protection and success in his career.

Also speaking at the event, a prominent Nkporo community leader, High Chief Sunny Ugwa, thanked God for His grace upon Sgt. Akuma and prayed for more divine protection and progress in his service.
In his remarks, the highly elated Sgt. Akuma expressed deep appreciation to Rt. Hon. Oko Chukwu for his mentorship and lasting impact on his life. He pledged to remain a worthy ambassador of the Nkporo community, Abia State, and the Nigeria Police Force.
