ENCOMIUMS AS HON. LADY CHRISTIE UCHE NWOKE IS LAID TO REST

It was all encomiums and a moment of sobber reflection on Saturday the 25th of October 2025 as Hon. Lady Christie Uche Nwoke was laid to rest to be at the bossom of the Lord .

The funeral service was conducted by The Living Faith Church Ihie Ndume Ibeku in Umuahia North LGA. Speaking at the funeral service, pastor Chika Abundance the officiating Minister described death as the end of an era but for true believers as Lady Hon. Christie Uche Nwoke death is a transition from here to a place where there is no pain , no sorrow , no night but a place of rest for the saints .

He said all should note that one day we shall all die and return back to God our maker . According to him death is an appointment and no body came to earth with anything so all must go back with nothing . He observed that since death is an appointment without a fixed date, all should begin now to prepare for their return to God by giving their lives to Christ so that at the end of ones journey on earth one would go to that great place of rest just as Hon. Lady Uche Nwoke who is now at the right hand of God having being a devoted Christian who was committed to the service of God.

A former Federal Minister for Mines and Steel Dr Sampson Uche Ogah , described Hon. Nwoke as a committed member of his political organization ‘Abia Rejoice, a Virtuous woman and a devoted Christian who is always steadfast in any assignment given to her .He prayed for a contineous peaceful rest of her soul.

Speaking the first daughter of late Hon. Nwoke Dr. Mrs Pamela Chika Ikedum described her mother as a devoted Christian who served God all her life . She would continue to remember her mother for her kindness, hard work and resilience in what ever she does . Hon. Lady Nwoke’s first son Engr.Chinedu Nwoke said he would remember his mother for her kindness and service to humanity and God. He said he would like to follow her footsteps in Christianity and politics .

Hon. Lady Christie Uche Nwoke, would be remembered for her kindness as a philanthropist , her role in politics having once aspired to be a member of the Abia State House of Assembly to represent the good people of Umuahia East State Constituency .She is an Entrepreneur of note who founded several business outfits.

Hon. Lady Christie Uche Nwoke was a devoted Christian a member of Living Faith Church Ihie Ndume. She came saw and conquered. May her gentle soul continue to rest in peace .
