The APGA Candidate vying for , Umuahia North State Constituency in Abía State House of Assembly , Barr.Ugochukwu Fidelix Ikpo who is desirous to represent the great people of Ohuhu land ,
said he
is supporting the present Abia state governor
Dr. Alex Óttï in the on coming 2027 guber race of the state.

Speaking recently in his Umuagu Ohuhu residence , Barrister Ugochukwu Ikpo said though his party APGA has a governorship candidate in Abía State , the candidate he said is not known to him .
Barrister Ikpo said he has never seen the APGA governorship Candidate before , he does not know him in person , and the person has never called him on phone, moreso , he do not know his manifesto for the state . For these and more, the person he knows right now as the Guber candidate for Abia State come 2027 general elections is Dr. Alex Chioma Óttï of Labour party.

Barrister Ikpo made it clear once again that he is not going to Abía House of Assembly for his own personal interest , no, but for the interest and good of the entire people of Ohuhu land .

Barr. Ikpo Said his major goal for Ohuhu is the development of the land and youth empowerment .
If by the grace of God, he gets elected , the first thing he would do is to move a motion for the creation of jobs for Ohuhu youths. Most Ohuhu youths he said have no jobs .He said he would strive to ensure this lofty dream comes to fruition.The governor he said is indeed busy creating jobs for youths in the state so he would cue into the governor job creation agenda and make sure the interest of Ohuhu youths are well protected as far as job creation for Ohuhu youths is concerned. According to him, He said that the issue of job creation should not have been a problem in Ohuhu land considering the array of elected politicians Ohuhu land is parading . He said Ohuhu has a member federal House of Representative in the person of Hon. Obi Aguocha Ohuhu has an elected House of Assembly member, Ohuhu , he said equally has elected LGA Chairman and also Chief Victor Ikeji as a member of the Federal Character Commission. With all these men occupying vantage political positions , Ohuhu people should not complain of unemployment but the situation right now , is different . The present House of Assembly member is doing nothing to this regard because right from the onset , he has no agenda , he is not a Politician , he is not the winner of the ticket he is using , he is just there doing nothing for Ohuhu people . He has failed Ohuhu people, faIled in his first tenure so he has nothing to offer if he goes for a second tenure, Barr Ikpo stated.

Speaking on the claim by the sitting House member that be attracted the building of a Court Complex in Ohuhu, the CEO Devine Eagle Investment limited Barr Ikpo said the claim is not true , the court he said was built by the state governor in fulfilment of the campaign promise he made during his Campaign era where be promised to build a court complex in all the local government areas of the state .He challenged the house member to publish the motion he moved in the house that attracted the building of the court complex in Ohuhu .

speaking about the development of agriculture in Ohuhu land , Barr. , Ikpo said the development of agriculture is the responsibility of the state governor . However if he gets to the house of Assembly, he would first think about the roads that leads to the farmlands. According to him there are no access roads to Ohuhu farm lands and our present House of Assembly member is doing nothing about it .So if one wants to develop agric in Umuahia North State constituency, the person must think of the roads first . the roads must be attended to for easy access to the farms and easy evacuation of farm produce .
Of course to achieve this ,
He said he will liasse with the the state government to see the need to execute the road projects . Again , considering the fact that some of the farm lands located in ohuhu Community especially the Ulonna North and South Farm Settlements are food baskets of the state.

An Observer from Nkwoegwu village told our Reporter that Barr . Ikpo is the best candidate for Umuahia North State constituency and will do well if elected in 2027 .
