Consultant Unveils Plan to Globalise Aba Trade Fair
The Managing Director of Vivamark Communication Ltd, Mr. Marcus Ijioma, has unveiled plans to elevate the Aba International Trade Fair onto the global stage.

Mr. Ijioma, whose firm is serving as a consultant for the 2026 edition of the trade fair, made this known while speaking with journalists shortly after the inauguration ceremony held in Umuahia.
He expressed optimism about the rising commercial profile of Aba and Abia State at large, describing the state as a fast-emerging hub for trade and exhibitions in Nigeria.
According to him, the consulting team is determined to build on the achievements already recorded by the state government, adding that their role in media, branding, and marketing will further enhance the fair’s reach and impact.

“Our goal is not to compete locally,” he said. “We are positioning Aba alongside leading global commercial centres such as Guangzhou, Beijing, and Paris. That is the standard we are working towards.”
Mr. Ijioma noted that with key infrastructure already in place, the next phase is to attract international investors and participants, while showcasing the vast economic potential of Abia State.
He stressed the need for increased global visibility, emphasizing that the international community must begin to take note of the growing business opportunities within the state.
The Aba International Trade Fair is expected to draw participants from across Nigeria and beyond, reinforcing Aba’s reputation as a major commercial nerve centre.
