OHAFIA MOURNS AS MAYOR HONOURS LATE REV. DR. UMA UKPAI’S GLOBAL LEGACY

The Mayor of Ohafia Local Government Area, Chief Eleanya Ojuu Kalu, has described the late Rev. Dr. Uma Ukpai as a towering figure whose life of impact resonated across the world.

Speaking at the funeral service held at Coronanta Secondary School Asaga Ohafia, the Mayor said the late cleric’s legacy would remain a source of inspiration to generations.

He emphasized that Rev. Dr. Ukpai’s influence went beyond his immediate community, noting that his contributions to humanity earned him global recognition and respect.

The Mayor expressed gratitude to God for the gift of such an extraordinary life, while calling on society to uphold and emulate the values of service, humility, and dedication exemplified by the deceased.

The solemn event attracted a large gathering of mourners, dignitaries, and religious faithful who came together to celebrate the life and enduring impact of a man widely regarded as one of Ohafia’s finest sons.
