Pupils Celebrate Philanthropist Dr. Chimaobi Anyaso on His Birthday in Heartwarming School Ceremony

It was a day of joy, prayers, and celebration at the Ahuama Anyaso Educational Foundation as pupils and staff gathered to honour their benefactor, Dr. Chimaobi Desmond Anyaso, on the occasion of his birthday.

The event, held on the school premises in Igbere, Bende Local Government Area of Abia State, was a touching tribute marked by heartfelt prayers, expressions of gratitude, and vibrant cultural and recreational activities.

Led by the Head Teacher, Rev. Oko Eme, the school community came together in thanksgiving, asking for continued blessings upon Dr. Anyaso, whose philanthropic efforts have transformed the lives of countless children in the region.

“We prayed not just for long life,” said Rev. Eme, “but that God should continue to bless Dr. Anyaso abundantly, so he can keep supporting the education of these children and continue touching lives across our communities.”

In a particularly moving moment, pupils took turns praying for Dr. Anyaso’s well-being, asking for divine protection and guidance for him, his family, and his business ventures. Teachers also joined in expressing profound gratitude for the impact the foundation has had on education in the area.

Describing the philanthropist as “a man of many parts whose milk of human kindness knows no bounds,” Rev. Eme lauded Dr. Anyaso’s unwavering commitment to education, calling him a father figure, mentor, and symbol of hope.

A highlight of the celebration was the presentation of Dr. Anyaso’s autobiography translated into the Igbo language a project spearheaded by the pupils themselves, blending education with cultural pride.

The day also featured lively games and activities, including balloon races and the popular Steeze Game, bringing laughter and excitement to the school grounds.

The festivities concluded with the cutting of a birthday cake and a rousing toast to Dr. Anyaso, as pupils and staff sang and cheered in celebration.

Representing the celebrant was Hon. Promise Uzoma Okoro, former Deputy Chairman of Bende LGA, who conveyed Dr. Anyaso’s heartfelt appreciation. He thanked the pupils for their love and assured them of Dr. Anyaso’s continued dedication to their education and well-being.

He also praised the teaching staff for their commitment and encouraged them to remain steadfast in their service.

Founded by Dr. Chimaobi Desmond Anyaso, the Ahuama Anyaso Educational Foundation provides free, high-quality education to underserved children in Abia State. The birthday celebration served as a powerful testament to the foundation’s life-changing impact and the enduring legacy of its founder.
