GODA DG Commends Governor Otti, Reaffirms Commitment to Clean Abia North

The Director-General of the Greater Ohafia Development Agency (GODA), Elder Engr. Obinna Agwu Odum, has commended the visible transformation taking place across the five local government areas of Abia North, particularly in the area of environmental cleanliness and effective community development.

Speaking on the agency’s ongoing efforts, Elder Odum noted that the renewed drive to keep Abia North clean and orderly is already yielding positive results, describing it as a collective achievement anchored on purposeful leadership.

He expressed profound gratitude to the Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Otti, for his foresight and leadership in identifying competent professionals with the required technical expertise and positioning them appropriately to deliver results.

“We thank Governor Alex Otti, who recognised our capacity and ensured that people with the right technical skills were properly identified and placed where they can work effectively. This has made it possible for us to contribute meaningfully to the development of Abia North,” he said.

According to the GODA Director-General, the agency’s leadership and workforce did not start without experience, noting that their previous engagements prepared them for the responsibility of serving Abia North at this level..

“We did not start from nowhere. We have been working in different capacities before now, and that experience is what brought us here and enabled us to contribute to fixing Abia North,” he added.

Elder Odum gave glory to God for the success recorded so far and also appreciated the Governor Dr. Alex Otti’ his deputy Engr Ikechukwu emetu and his team for their continuous support.

He concluded with a word of advice to the public, urging everyone to remain committed and diligent in their responsibilities.

“My advice to everyone is simple: whatever your hands find to do, do it well,” he said.
