A beautiful and memorable way to end the year. Grateful always.

I spent the final day of the year in a most meaningful and memorable way, receiving a special visit from my dear senior friend, Mr. Ejikeme Ikwunze, fondly and widely known as “Mr. Football.”

We shared quality time together, reflecting on life, leadership, and naturally football, a passion he has lived and breathed for decades. It was a moment filled with warmth as we ate, laughed, and reminisced. In a gesture I deeply cherish, he graciously presented me and my children with the last available copies of three of his books gifts of immense value and legacy.
In appreciation of his enduring friendship, wisdom, and lifelong contributions to sports and society,

I also presented him with a car to support his mobility before his departure.
Moments like these—defined by friendship, honour, gratitude, and giving. are truly priceless. It was a beautiful and fitting way to close the year.

As we step into the New Year, I wish everyone a Happy New Year 2026, and I pray that God blesses us all beyond our expectations this year, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
