EMIR OF KANO, SANUSI II CELEBRATES CHRISTMAS WITH GOV. OTTI .

The Emir of Kano, His Highness, Mohammadu Sanusi II, has arrived Abia State to celebrate Christmas with the governor of the state Dr . Alex Otti and the people of the state .

Speaking at Arochukwu LGA , the Visitor
commended the achievements of Abia State Governor, Dr. Alex Otti, OFR, saying that even outside Abia and Nigeria, people have taken note of the great transformation going on in the state .

The Traditional Ruler made the remarks on Thursday, December 25th, during the 2025 Atani Day Celebration, at Atani Community School field in Arochukwu LGA where he was full of praises for the governor over the laudable achievements his government’ have recorded in the last two years , saying

“I’m proud to be a member of his international economic advisory Board Council .

Speaking further, HH Sanusi II, commended the cultural displays at the Atani day celebration, expressing the hope that Nigerians will continue to build bridges across the country, holding hands as brothers and sisters and citizens of One great nation.

According to him , Nigerians should continue to build these bridges across the Niger, to hold hands and remain brothers and sisters, citizens of one great country .

Speaking at the event, the Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Otti, OFR, commended the Emir of Kano, Mohammed Sanusi II, whom he said have been his friends for over 2 decades . He said the Emir is coming to the community for the third time and We are glad to have him, he
just came to celebrate Christmas with us , the governor noted .

Gov óttï frowned at those politicizing ethnicity and tribalism saying they do this because they have no argument .He noted that he had equally paid visits to the Emir in his Palace without any problems .

He thanked Emir Sanusi for remaining whom he is .He was Central Bank Governor, he insisted on the right thing to be done and they removed him , and, I remember his comments then, you can suspend me but you can’t suspend the truth.

As an Emir, he was removed and later, he was called back .Governor Otti encouraged the people to always remain resilient and steadfast in whatever they are going through so that they will overcome like the Emir of Kano.

Governor Otti used the opportunity to reassure Abians that his Government will not disappoint them because it is a Government that God used them to install, he urged them to ignore those screaming to be noticed for negotiation, insisting that his government has no time for such people.
