City Boy Movement State Director Receives APC Governorship Candidate Eric Opah, Reaffirms Commitment to APC

The State Director Abiaof the CityBoy Movement, Abia State Chapter, Mayor Lucky Igbokwe, received the All Progressives Congress (APC) Governorship Candidate for Abia State, Chief Eric C. Opah, during a consultation visit aimed at strengthening collaboration and deepening engagement with key stakeholders within the party.

The APC Governorship Candidate was accompanied by his running mate and Deputy Governorship Candidate, Dr. Godswill Agu Egbe, as well as the Director General of the Eric Opah Campaign Organization, Chief Charles Ogbonna, alongside members of the campaign team.

Speaking during the visit, Mayor Lucky Igbokwe warmly welcomed the delegation and commended Chief Eric C. Opah for demonstrating leadership through consultation and engagement with critical stakeholders of the party. He noted that such interactions are vital to fostering unity and building a stronger All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of future political engagements.

The State Director offered prayers for the governorship candidate, asking Almighty God to grant him wisdom, strength, divine direction, and favour as he continues his consultations across the state.

Mayor Igbokwe reaffirmed that the CityBoy Movement remains one of the strongest grassroots political movements established in support of the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR. He stated that through commitment, discipline, and grassroots mobilization, the movement has continued to grow into a formidable force within the APC.

He further remarked that the CityBoy Movement is steadily evolving into a strategic political institution whose influence will continue to shape leadership within the party. He expressed confidence that a time will come when the movement will play a decisive role in determining who occupies elective offices, just as it contributed significantly to the emergence of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Mayor Igbokwe also commended the leadership of the All Progressives Congress for sustaining internal democracy, consultation, and party cohesion. He urged members across the state to remain united and committed to the shared objective of strengthening the APC and delivering good governance to the people.
