Dr. Chima Anyaso Urges Nigerians to Embrace Optimism as Nation Marks 65th Independence Anniversary
As Nigeria celebrates its 65th Independence anniversary, businessman and politician Dr. Chima Desmond Anyaso has called on citizens to enter the new month of October with renewed optimism, unity, and determination.
In a goodwill message on Wednesday, Dr. Anyaso reflected on Nigeria’s journey since gaining independence in 1960, describing the new month as a symbolic moment for national reflection and personal resolve.
“October is not just the beginning of a new month—it is a reminder of how far we have come as a nation,” he said. “Let us approach this period with renewed energy and optimism. Together, we can overcome any challenges that come our way and achieve great success.”
He urged Nigerians, particularly those in his home state of Abia, to remain focused, work smart, and stay united in the pursuit of national progress. According to him, the 65th anniversary should serve as a time to reaffirm the country’s collective aspirations and demonstrate resilience in the face of economic and social difficulties.
Dr. Anyaso, who hails from Bende Local Government Area of Abia State, is the Chief Executive Officer of Caades Oil and Gas Ltd. He is also the founder of the Chima Anyaso Foundation, which supports education and youth development initiatives across Nigeria.
He extended his best wishes to all Nigerians, expressing confidence in the nation’s potential. “With unity and determination,” he said, “Nigeria will continue on the path of growth, peace, and stability.”
