A prominent figure from Bende Federal Constituency, Dr. Chimaobi Desmond Anyaso, has called on Christians to strengthen their faith and live more purposeful lives as they commemorate the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

In his Easter message, Anyaso described Christ’s resurrection as a decisive triumph over death and despair, emphasizing that it remains a powerful reminder for believers to depend fully on the finished work of Christ on the cross.

He noted that the resurrection offers divine assurance that upliftment is not merely a distant hope, but a reward that comes through sacrifice, steadfast faith, and unwavering dedication to God.

According to him, the Easter season presents an opportunity for Christians to reflect on the sacrifices they have made in their walk with Christ whether in time, comfort, or personal pleasures reassuring them that such commitments do not go unnoticed by God.

The Ofuji Ndi Igbo further prayed that the same Spirit that raised Jesus Christ from the dead would uplift believers, strengthen their faith, and rekindle their zeal for the advancement of God’s kingdom.

He also expressed optimism that the message of Easter would bring comfort to the hurting, courage to the weary, and renewed joy to the faithful.
