NUJ Abia Invites Members to September Congress, Urges Massive Turnout

Members of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Abia State Council have been called to attend the Council’s monthly congress scheduled for Thursday, September 3, 2026.

A notice signed by Chairman Comrade Chidi Asonye and Secretary Comrade Iyke Onuegbu, mnipr, said the meeting will hold at 3pm at the Press Centre, No. 66 Aba Road, Umuahia.

The statement disclosed that PDP Abia Governorship Candidate, Dr. Kelechi Anosike, will grace the occasion as Special Guest.

The Council urged all members, including veterans, to attend en masse.
