Emetu, Ginger, Oko Chukwu, Uruakpa Grace Nwankwo Family’s Child Dedication in Isiala Ngwa North

The Deputy Governor of Abia State, Engr.Ikechukwu Emetu, has called on parents to raise their children in the fear of God and with sound moral values, saying child dedication goes beyond naming a child.

Engr. Emetu made the call during the dedication and thanksgiving service of Master Exalted Chidiebube Nwankwo, son of Pastor Uzochi Rowland Nwankwo and Mrs. Uzochi Nwankwo, held at the United Evangelical Church, Abayi, in Isiala Ngwa North Local Government Area.

The Deputy Governor said childbirth remains a special blessing and commended mothers for the sacrifices they make from conception to delivery.

He noted that dedication of a child in church should not end with celebration alone, but must be followed by deliberate efforts to nurture the child in righteousness and good character.

According to him, many people bear Christian names, yet fail to reflect the values those names represent.

Engr. Emetu said the name “Exalted” should become a symbol of excellence, good conduct and positive contribution to society.

He urged the parents to constantly remind the child of the significance of the day and the expectations of family, church and society.

In his remarks, former Deputy Governor Ude Oko Chukwu congratulated the family and prayed that the child would grow to become a blessing to his generation, family and community.

Earlier,The member representing Isiala Ngwa North and South Federal Constituency, Ginger Onwusibe, congratulated Pastor Uzochi Rowland Nwankwo and his wife on the dedication of their son, describing children as precious gifts from God.

He urged the family to remain steadfast in faith and to raise Master Exalted Chidiebube Nwankwo with discipline, godly values and sound education, praying that the child would grow in wisdom, good health and become a source of pride to his parents, community and the nation.

Also speaking, the Commissioner for Arts, Culture and Creative Economy in Abia State, Dr.Matthew Ekwuribe, thanked God for the gift of life and the safe delivery of the baby.

He noted that the occasion was a reminder that life is sustained by divine grace, adding that many people desire such moments but only a few are privileged to witness them.

He prayed that God would continue to preserve the family and grant them the wisdom, strength and resources needed to nurture the child into a responsible and God-fearing adult.

Also speaking, the Mayor of Isiala Ngwa North Local Government Area, Hon. Innocent Uruakpa, described Pastor Uzochi Rowland Nwankwo as his younger brother and charged him to be a responsible father.

He prayed that Master Exalted Chidiebube Nwankwo would grow to become a great man in Abia State and across Nigeria.

Responding on behalf of the family, Pastor Uzochi Rowland Nwankwo thanked God for the safe delivery of the child and expressed appreciation to all guests who came to celebrate with them.

He said the family remains grateful to God and expressed confidence that divine provision would sustain them in raising the child.
