Bende Mayor Assures Anyaso of Massive Votes from Itumbauzor in 2027

The Executive Mayor of Bende Local Government Area of Abia State, Hon. Deacon Uwabunkonye Bassey, has assured the Labour Party candidate for Bende Federal Constituency, Dr. Chima Anyaso, of massive support from the people of Itumbauzor in the 2027 House of Representatives election.

Bassey gave the assurance on Saturday when he hosted Anyaso and his entourage at his country home in Ndiwo, Itumbauzor, Bende LGA.

The Mayor said the people of Itumbauzor would reciprocate the confidence reposed in him, as a son of the community, by supporting his political platform and efforts to serve as Executive Mayor of Bende Local Government Area.

He expressed optimism that the existing relationship between the Labour Party and the people of Itumbauzor would translate into strong support for Governor Alex Otti and Anyaso during the 2027 elections.

According to him, the visit provided an opportunity to strengthen the relationship between the political leadership and the people, while assuring Anyaso of the community’s backing ahead of the election.

Responding, Anyaso thanked the Mayor and the people of Itumbauzor for the reception, describing the visit as an important opportunity to deepen engagement and build stronger relationships with constituents.

He pledged that, if elected, he would provide quality, accessible and accountable representation, with emphasis on projects and initiatives capable of improving the lives of residents across Bende Federal Constituency.

Anyaso also promised to attract sustainable development projects to Itumbauzor and other communities in the constituency, assuring the people that their interests would receive adequate attention at the National Assembly.

He further pledged to collaborate with relevant stakeholders and government institutions to facilitate meaningful development across Bende Federal Constituency from 2027.
