*CHIMA ANYASO FOUNDATION PARTNERS COMMUNITYWIDE CHARITIES USA TO ESTABLISH FOOD BANKS ACROSS BENDE FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY*

The Founder of the Chima Anyaso Foundation and Labour Party Candidate for Bende Federal Constituency in the 2027 General Elections, Dr. Chimaobi Desmond Anyaso, has announced a strategic partnership with Communitywide Charities USA aimed at addressing food insecurity and strengthening community support systems across Bende Federal Constituency.

The partnership was reached following a productive meeting in Boston, Massachusetts, between Dr. Anyaso and Shola Muyide, Chief Executive Officer of Communitywide Charities USA and Founder of Communitywide Grassroots Organisation, Nigeria.

Speaking after the meeting, Dr. Anyaso revealed that both organizations have agreed to collaborate through the Chima Anyaso Foundation to establish community food banks across the thirteen wards of Bende Federal Constituency.

According to him, the initiative is designed to provide periodic food support to vulnerable families and individuals, helping to address food insecurity and reduce the stigma associated with hunger, particularly during difficult economic periods.

“This partnership reflects our shared commitment to community development, social impact, and improving the quality of life of our people. We believe that no family should go to bed hungry, and through these food banks, we hope to provide practical support that restores dignity and offers hope to those facing hardship,” Dr. Anyaso stated.

He noted that the initiative would complement ongoing efforts aimed at promoting wellbeing, social inclusion, and sustainable community development throughout Bende Federal Constituency.

Dr. Anyaso emphasized that meaningful leadership is demonstrated through action and service, adding that effective partnerships remain essential for delivering lasting solutions to societal challenges.

“At the heart of this collaboration is the belief that leadership is about building bridges, creating opportunities, and working with like-minded organizations to positively impact lives. We are committed to advancing a culture of compassion, shared responsibility, and community empowerment,” he added.

The Labour Party standard-bearer commended Mr. and Mrs. Muyide, as well as the entire Communitywide Charities team, for their dedication to humanitarian service and their willingness to partner on the initiative.

“This is only the beginning. By the grace of God, we look forward to touching more lives and creating lasting impact across the thirteen wards of Bende Federal Constituency,” Dr. Anyaso concluded.

The food bank project is expected to commence in phases, with plans to reach communities across the constituency through a structured and sustainable distribution framework.
