NSCDC State Commandant Visits Abia CP, Seeks Stronger Security Collaboration
The State Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Abia State Command, CC Odimba Chukwuemeka Nicholson, has paid a courtesy visit to the Commissioner of Police, Abia State Command, CP Danladi Isa, at the Command Headquarters in Umuahia.

The visit, which followed the Commandant’s recent posting to the state, was aimed at strengthening existing collaboration and fostering greater inter-agency synergy between the NSCDC and the Police.
Speaking during the meeting, Commandant Nicholson emphasized the need for enhanced intelligence sharing and coordinated operational strategies among security agencies to effectively tackle emerging security challenges in the state.
He noted that improved cooperation would significantly boost efforts to ensure public safety and maintain law and order across Abia State.
In his response, the Commissioner of Police, CP Danladi Isa, welcomed the Commandant and his team, assuring them of the Police Command’s commitment to sustained collaboration.
He reiterated the importance of mutual support and partnership among security agencies in delivering effective security services and promoting lasting peace in the state.

Both leaders reaffirmed their resolve to deepen inter-agency cooperation to strengthen the state’s security architecture and safeguard residents.
