Otti’s Leadership Has Restored Abia’s Pride — Dr. Chima Anyaso”

In what many observers describe as a major political endorsement ahead of the 2027 elections, prominent businessman and political leader, Dr. Chimaobi Desmond Anyaso (CDA), has declared unwavering support for the administration of Governor Alex Chioma Otti, describing his leadership as “transformational and divinely ordained.”

Dr. Anyaso made the declaration during a solidarity event organized in Aba by the Old Bende Progressive Union, where leaders, stakeholders, and residents gathered to express their continued confidence in the Otti-led government.

Dr. Anyaso, popularly known as Ofuji, said he was filled with “pride and gratitude” witnessing the positive changes sweeping across Abia State under Governor Otti’s leadership.

“Your Excellency, what you have done in such a short time has touched every part of Abia, including Old Bende. We see the roads, we see the light, we feel the order, and most importantly, we feel a renewed sense of dignity as Abians,” he stated.

He praised Governor Otti for what he called “genuine governance anchored on transparency, integrity, and people-centered reforms,” noting that in less than two years, the administration has restored hope and public trust through tangible results rather than rhetoric.

“For years, we prayed for good leadership, and today we can boldly say, God has answered us through you. You have shown that leadership is not about noise, but about results,” Dr. Anyaso declared to loud applause from attendees.

Reaffirming the loyalty of the Old Bende people to the governor, Anyaso assured that their support would extend “beyond 2027,” adding that the area stands solidly behind Otti’s vision for a new and prosperous Abia.

“The good people of Old Bende are proud of your courage, integrity, and unwavering commitment to rebuilding our state. Old Bende will stand with you all the way, even beyond 2027,” he assured.

Dr. Anyaso thanked Governor Otti on behalf of the Old Bende Federal Constituency, commending him for “restoring Abia’s pride and dignity” through purposeful leadership.

“Thank you, Governor Alex Otti, for giving us back our pride and showing the world that Abia is truly rising again,” he said.

The event, which drew political leaders, community stakeholders, and youth representatives from across Abia, was seen as a strong vote of confidence in the Otti administration and a signal of growing political alignment within the state.
