TRADITIONAL RULER SAYS CULTURE IS FOR PEACE PROGRESS AND UNITY DESCRIBES GOV. OTTI AS A GOOD MAN

The Traditional Ruler of Oriendu autonomous Community His Royal Majesty Eze Ambassador Philip Ajomiwe say cultural celebrations in Igbo land are veritable means of ushering in peace , progress and unity in any society .

Speaking recently in his Royal palace in Oriendu autonomous community, Umuahia North LGA during the celebration of the community’s 2026 Igba Ekpe Cultural festival , the royal father said Culture is one thing that brings unity in a community , and this comes with peace and progress. He cited his community Oriendu as community that thrives in peace, progress and unity during their cultural festivities .

He made it clear that cultural festivals in Oriendu autonomous community are not fetish but purely for fun as it is a time most of their sons and daughter come home to celebrate Christmas and the Ekpe annual festival which comes up every first week in January of every year.

Eze Ajomiwe the Ndu1 of Oriendu autonomous community was full of praises for the state governor Dr. Alex Otti for all his developmental strides in the state saying he is a good man , he quoted the Vice President of Nigeria Alhaji Shettima as saying that Abia governor Dr Alex Otti is the best governor in the federation . He equally prayed for quick freedom for the incasrated leader of IPOB Mazi Nnamdi Kanu whom he described as a man on a devine mission and not in any way a Terrorist but a Liberator and an Imancipator sent to liberate Ndi Igbo .
