ABIA STATE CHAPTER OF APC CONCLUDES PRESIDENTIAL PRIMARIES IN THE STATE

The Abia State Chapter of All Progressive Congress APC have this day the 23rd of May 2026 concluded the presidential Primary in the state with the incumbent President Alhaji Bola Ahmed TInubu emerging winner of the context having beaten his only rivalry Mr Stanley Osifo with a total vote of 161005 votes while Mr Osifo got a total vote score of 1007 votes .

The presidential Primary was conducted in the 184 wards of the state. The results obtained at the ward level were presented to local government Coordinators who inturn took their results to the party’s Secretariat at Finbarrs road Umuahia were the results were finally collated and announced by the Abia State presidential primary Returning Officer Rt Hon Benjamin Okezie Kalu.

Announcing the results collated the Deputy Speaker of the Federal House of Representatives Rt. Hon. Benjamin Okezie Kalu said from the results obtained, from the presidential primary Present Bola Ahmed TInubu have emerged winner of the Abía APC Presidential primary in Abia State having had the highest vote score in the primary election .
