Aba Made Film Project Takes Off: Anyasọ Says Creativity and Good Governance Attract Investment

Abia State is set to witness a major cultural and creative milestone as preparations intensify for the official flag-off of the “Chronicles of Enyimba” an Aba Made Film Project designed to spotlight the rich history, culture, and resilient spirit of the Abia people.

The event, holding on behalf of the Executive Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti, will bring together government officials, creatives, investors, and community stakeholders. The ceremony will be chaired by distinguished entrepreneur and philanthropist, Dr. Chimaobi Desmond Anyasọ, founder and Chairman of CAADES Group and the Chima Anyasọ Foundation.

Speaking ahead of the event, Dr. Anyasọ emphasized the transformative power of aligning creativity with an enabling government.

“When creativity converges with a supportive government, it catalyzes increased investment and fosters development,” he stated.

He commended Governor Otti’s administration for building a conducive environment for creative industries to thrive, noting that such forward-thinking governance is crucial for unlocking the state’s economic and cultural potential.

Dr. Anyasọ further urged Abians at home and in the diaspora to rally behind the project, describing it as more than a film initiative but a movement to strengthen identity, boost tourism, and attract both local and international investment.

“This project is not just about filmmaking; it is a movement that seeks to fortify our identity and attract investment. I encourage every Abian to come on board and support this monumental leap toward showcasing our rich heritage and unlocking our economic possibilities,” he added.
