Abia State Police Command Engages with Persons with Disabilities, Reaffirms Commitment to Partnership and Inclusion

 

The Commissioner of Police, Abia State Command, CP Danladi Isa, welcomed a delegation from the Albinism Association of Nigeria, Abia State Chapter, led by its Chairman, Mr. Enyinnaya Nwosu.

The courtesy visit was aimed at fostering a relationship with the Command and exploring areas of collaboration. During the meeting, the association expressed appreciation for the relative peace in the state and the Commissioner’s prompt approval of their visit request.

They emphasized that the warm reception reinforced their sense of inclusion and underscored the police’s commitment to non-discriminatory engagement.

In his response, CP Danladi Isa expressed gratitude for the visit and assured the group of the Command’s continued support and willingness to collaborate on matters of security. He encouraged the association to work closely with the police by providing credible information about any suspicious activity and advised them to continue being law-abiding citizens.

The Commissioner further pledged support for the association’s upcoming conference in the state, assuring them of adequate security throughout the event. He reiterated the Command’s commitment to fostering inclusive partnerships and maintaining open lines of communication.
