Prince Orji Urges Nkporo, Abiriba Residents to Register for Voter Cards

Nkporo, Abia State — Founder of the Hope Alive Foundation and Michael Vision Movement (MVM), Prince Michael Orji, has urged residents of Nkporo and Abiriba to take full advantage of the ongoing voter registration exercise being conducted by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

In a personally signed statement, Prince Orji emphasized that voter registration is fundamental to democratic governance, describing it as the “gateway to good governance.”

“Democracy thrives when citizens are actively involved,” he said. “The first step is registering and collecting your Permanent Voter Card (PVC). Without it, you cannot vote, and without voting, you surrender your voice in choosing your leaders.”

The Nkporo-born politician and philanthropist called on traditional rulers, youth groups, and community stakeholders to play an active role in mobilizing eligible voters across the constituency.

“Our future, and that of our children, depends on the choices we make at the ballot box,” he said. “This is not just a right but a civic responsibility we must all take seriously.”

Reiterating his commitment to the development of the region, Prince Orji assured residents of his continued support for initiatives aimed at fostering progress and community empowerment.

The ongoing INEC continuous voter registration is part of preparations for the upcoming general elections. Citizens who have yet to register are encouraged to do so in order to strengthen democratic participation.
