INTERNATIONAL YOUTH DAY 2026: A MESSAGE TO ABIA YOUTHS

The President of the Abia State Youth Parliamentarian Forum (AYPF), Hon. Chris Egbu, warmly congratulates youths across Abia State and Nigeria as we mark International Youth Day 2026.

He encouraged young people to rise to the challenges of their generation and embrace their responsibility as leaders of today and tomorrow. He emphasized that the youths are the pillar and bedrock of every society, stressing the need for government at all levels to invest meaningfully in youth development, education, skills acquisition, entrepreneurship and empowerment.

According to him, “What government invests in the youths today will determine the kind of society we will have tomorrow.”

Hon. Egbu urged youths to remain focused, resilient and committed to self-development despite the prevailing economic challenges and limited opportunities. He called on them to believe in themselves, discover their potential and continuously strive for excellence.

He concluded by urging Abia youths to actively contribute to the peace, progress and development of society, reminding them that the future belongs to those who are prepared to take responsibility today.
