The Bishop and Founder of Treasure Base Ministries international Umuahia Abia state ,Lord Bishop Barry Nathaniel Nwosu have called on pastors and Christians in general to pay more attention to the word of God saying that most men of God are more materialistic than preaching the word of God .

Speaking shortly after his ordination as Bishop , the Clergy man said Christians should pay more attention to the word of God than chasing wealth. He noted that he is not condemning wealth but people of God should beware how they go about it . According to him there is nothing wrong in giving gifts to a man of God but men of God should beware because some gifts he said affect the anointing of men of God .

Speaking on the prevailing ills in the society , Bishop’ Nwosu said our leaders are to blame ,some of them he said are evil how do you expect something good from an evil man , their misrule has affected the society adversely hence insecurity and other ills in society .

Addressing what it takes to be a Bishop , Lord Bishop Nwosu said one has to be a true servant of God with a wife and family , the person have to be Godly and separated on to the Lord his attitude have to change and be devine because the eyes of God and the people are on him . He disclosed that he was a Traditional Ruler before God called him and he have to obey .

He said God did not support the divorce if a husband and a wife except on very rare conditions . He said a man should not divorce his wife but let them be temporarily separated , God can intervane and bring them together again .

The Bishop who is founder and General Overseer of The Treasure Base Of God ministries Int . based in Umuahia the Abia state capital , urged Christians to intensify prayers for the nation and the Church noting that “what is being experienced in the world today are signs of end time as stated in the book of Matthew chapter 24 . We should be careful there is nothing in this world to warrant all these evil young boys rise up and kill young girls for money . According to the Bible the whole duty of man on earth is to fear God and keep his commandments” , The Bishop stated .
