UBAKALA CLAN UNION ELECTS NEW EXECUTIVES

The people of Ubakala clan in Umuahia South LGA of Abia state have in a kinlly contested election , elected a new Executives with Elder Godwin Obioma Mbonu emerging as the President General of the. Union .

Speaking to a cross section of the press on Monday the 1st day of September 2025 when he paid his first official visit to his office as President General of Ubakala Clan Union , the new President General , Elder Mbonu said he and his Executives have been elected to foster stronger unity in Ubakala Clan and move the clan forward .
He observed that the great clan of Ubakala have lacked behind in developmental strides , considering the caliber of people prevalent in the clan , his administration he said would synergize with these men and women of Calibre to take Ubakala to the next level of development .. He said attracting Infrastructural development to the clan is at the front burner of his agenda .

He noted that the clan enjoys cordial relationship with both Umuahia South LGA and the Abía State government’ which he strongly believe would bring progress to Ubakala clan .

Elder Mbonu expressed his appreciation to the people of Ubakala for electing him and his Executives promising not to dis appoint them . He urged the press to be objective in their reportage and they should coporate with his administration stating his readiness to establish a harmonious and convivial relationship with the press .

Elder Mbonu promised that the salient issue of Security would be a very serious matter in his tenured . He said he is going to work in tandem with security agencies including the local vigilantes to ensure the clan is free from all sorts of crime . He would equally fight to ensure high level of cleaniness is maintained in Ubakala Clan, to achieve this he would attract the presence of Abía State Environmental Protection Agency ASEPA to Ubakala and cooperate with ministry of Environment to ensure the clan maintains high level of cleaniness.
